Drive out to Paarl and Stellenbosch in the heart of the Cape Winelands. Tour the wine cellars and enjoy cheese & wine tasting at a Franschhoek vineyard.
Stellenbosch is a charming university town about 50km from Cape Town, surrounded by mountains and vine plantations. This region is known for its historic Cape Dutch architecture, and is the heart of Cape wine country. You are taken on an informative travel tour of Stellenbosch and a wine estate, where you will enjoy a typical wine tasting. An optional cheetah visit is also offered. The full day tour includes a lunch stop and a drive over Helshoogte mountain pass to Franschhoek, situated in the midst of mountains and vines. You visit the hilltop Huguenot monument at the city of Paarl and take a wine tour of the Nelson's Creek cellar for tasting and purchasing.

- Nelson's Creek - Cellar tour with wine & cheese tasting
- Drive past the Groot Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in Feb 1990
- Franschhoek - Drive through Franschhoek village and see the Hugenotmonument
- Wine tasting and optional lunch at a Franschhoek Wine Estate
- Helshoogte mountain pass
- Drive through the historical town of Stellenbosch
- Informal Wine tasting at Tokara (time permitting)
Option 2 (Tue, Fri, Sun*)
- KWV - Brandy & chocolate tasting
- Drive past the Groot Drakenstein Prison where Nelson Mandela was released in Feb 1990
- Cellar tour, wine tasting and optional lunch at Rickety Bridge Winery
- Helshoogte mountain pass
- Drive through the historical town of Stellenbosch
- Informal Wine tasting at Tokara (time permitting)
