Highlights of the Western Cape, visit the beautiful Cape Winelands and then travel via Boulders Beach Penguin Colony to Cape Point to see where the Two Oceans meet.
Depart the hotel and flank the colder Atlantic ocean en route to Hout Bay. Through the little harbour town, the tour continues over the famous Chapman's Peak drive, following the Atlantic Ocean until we reach Cape Point. Said to be the romantic meeting place of the two mighty oceans, the Atlantic and the Indian, Sir Francis Drake the Explorer once called it "the fairest Cape that we saw in the whole circumference of the Globe".
We pass the naval base of Simonstown as we continue along the Indian Ocean, en route with an optional stop (time permitting) to see the Jackass penguin colony which has become well established at Boulders beach. We will return you to the Waterfront where you will have about 45minutes to help yourself to lunch at any of great restaurants there before departing on the afternoon portion of the tour.
After lunch we continue to Anura Wine Estate in the Stellenbosch area for a winetasting, cellar tour and cheese tasting. A short drive through to the town of Stellenbosch before making you your way to Spier Estate where you will have the opportunity to touch a Cheetah (for own account - time permitting). A second winetasting at a wine estate in the area is possible (time permitting).
