A place like no other, the Western Cape boasts a cosmopolitan combination of people and places against a backdrop of awe-inspiring scenic wonders, pristine beaches and a proud heritage of cultures and traditions. Hotspots2C have put together an exciting 3 day tour of the Western Cape, visiting all the tourist hotspots from Cape Point to Hermanus.

Tour Itinerary ...

Day 1 - Cape Town to Stellenbosch
We visit Groot Constantia, the oldest and one of the finest wine producing farms in South Africa, for a cellar tour and wine tasting. Then on Hout Bay (with optional boat trip to Duiker Island) and time to enjoy Fish and chips at Mariner's wharf. Explore the Cape Peninsula's spectacular coastline as we drive along Chapman's Peak and through the beautiful seaside towns of Fish Hoek and Simonstown. Visit the Cape Point Nature Reserve at Africa's most south westerly point, where wildlife roams amongst the Cape's unique fynbos landscape. We stay overnight in the historic University Town of Stellenbosch, with it's excellent accommodation award-winning restaurants and vibrant nightlife..

Day 2 - Stellenbosch to Hermanus
Travel to Franschhoek and Hermanus via a township, wine estates and scenic mountain passes. Visit the Kayamandi Township Wine where you will enjoy the spirit of African hospitality, learn about local wines and take part in wine tasting at beautiful wine farms around Stellenbosch. The charming French Huguenot town of Franschhoek offers the perfect lunch stop with a choice of street cafes and restaurants. Then on to the laid-back seaside town of Hermanus, the world's most exciting land-based whale-watching venue (June to November), with excellent seafood restaurants.

Day 3 - Hermanus to Cape Town
The brave at heart can join the optional shark cage dive in Gansbaai, or enjoy the morning in Hermanus. At Stormy Point in Betty's Bay, we get close to some African penguins, then we venture on through the Kogelberg mountains and along the coastal road back to Cape Town.

Departs: 8.00am Returns: Day 3 at approx 5.30pm

Hotspots2c will pick up at any accommodation in Cape Town (within 5km of the city centre) and drop you off at your hotel after the tour. Specific times may vary.
